Instrumentals.... call them what you will. What are your favorites? Here is one I bet y'all have never heard. Gives me chills. An 80s fever dream from a band that went largely unnoticed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvdW8bV5KP8
if you like that then i am happy for you and glad you found a music you enjoy but i had to quote this just so i can say that this sounds like a 4 minute intro to a good song.

a lot of instrumental versions of popular music do sound that way. music that is written intentionally to paint pictures with sound alone and without words, are an entirely different matter, and one i often and mostly prefer. there are simply more enjoyable sounds, at least for me, then those made by the human voice. when there does have to be a lyric, if its in a language i don't know, or if its not about the kind of mundane things in mundane settings people often talk about, that's as good as anything with a lyric gets. to me, a lyric, is the box of the familiar, while without its cage, sounds can explore beyond it, out into the universe itself.
I was going to post this as well, so instead I'll go with the significantly more ridiculous Tommy Seebach version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6tnj7IEI0E
