Sometimes you need a good cry followed by a good belly laugh.

 

None of the songs here would make me cry. But, hearing Karen Carpenter or Dolores Riordan certainly is sad.

This song has always brought a tear to my eye, from the first time I ever heard it, as a kid, having watched the Vietnam War on the news every evening. Made me want to join the military...just not the Green Berets, so much!
