Something interesting you learned recently

Looking over the last several pages of this thread I've learned I'm getting too fucking old for this shyt....

 

And we can still hear alot of it on FM radio because most Modern Rock Radio stations are still comprised mostly of 90's music for some odd reason. on the Rap stations, 90's rap music seems to have been relegated to Throwback Lunch Hour segments tho.

 

They play some 90s music, which was indeed awesome, here, but mostly it's contemporary. Current rock is just a bunch of macho bullshit IMO. It's like it's cool to be a complete psychopath.

 

There are honestly some songs from the 90s I would be happy to never hear again because they've gotten so much radio play over the years

I'm definitely turned on by smart people but only if they're unpretentious about it

 

Regardless, it sounds like a word you can keep in your back pocket when attempting to flatter someone.

 

If i'm going to flatter or impress someone i'd rather use words like nyctophilia. Yeah, that sounds more like me.

 

I learned recently that if I'm treated very rudely by someone in a store I go to...like by a cashier or clerk...I feel much better about the whole situation after I report them.

I have been treated with much disrespect in the past, and I said/did nothing. I have twice in the past week done this - reported the rude asses to the manager/s. Oh yeah I did...and it made me feel So Much Better.

I worked with the public for years and years (in different capacities) and I KNEW never to treat the public (even though many are idiots) with rudeness and disrespect. You just have to swallow it and go on. I didn't deserve the way I was treated either time - at different stores, and it gave me a great sense of satisfaction to report them - both to the managers of the store and online.

What the graphs don't show, is that the Soviet Union had enormous borders and most of their military spending was always on less advanced technology, which is why their economy eventually collapsed when they could not compete with the US. War is not merely a political affair as politicians would have us believe, but an integral part of our economy with the largest exporter in the world today, the US, making more money exporting weapons than anything else manufactured. The technology that makes weapons possible began with the first stone tools, and its not a coincide that we had advanced weapons before inventing agriculture.

Okay well, polar bears are actually black skinned.
Only their fur is white, but their skin is like black rubber. If they're healthy.

 

Personally I eat a lot of pork and chicken so, that's why I'm white. Would love to see some green skinned veges though, or maybe someone who eats egg plants and they're purple. Grimmace marrfuckers
