wow dreads looking really nice, great progress...

 

Here's a dread band I knit and hand dyed myself. I am pretty happy with it since anytime I've knitted a band it never fit.

Nice. I have trouble making things the right fit when I crochet. Glad we're both having some success.

 

That's great. Seems the less effort you put in when you start, the better the results.

 

I dyed them dark brown and it looks splotchy in the photos but I am sure it isn't. I also dyed the loose hair around my face and a little of my bangs purple.

love the purple and brown, and i'm more than a little jealous of your locks - so much beautiful texture and they look nice and solid

 

I left one in but I am not sure it looks right. I want to keep it but looks like a turd hanging off my head. I am happy with combing them out but my hair was way longer before I dreaded, combing them out seemed to have damaged a lot of my hair.
