Some Progress shots

I have a few loose hairs between dreads and it seems they don't really get sucked into other pieces. I think if I notice they stay but if I forget about the hair it disappears I use beads at different times to help with some of the loose hairs. Otherwise any straight pieces stay straight

I think my hair is going to shrink just a tad bit more still which kind of sucks but hopefully as it grows it doesn't get much shorter, sort of evens out.

greataoto, your dreads are frikkin gorgeous! they are so interesting. ours are about the same age which is cool. some of mine have the same texture as yours, mostly the ones in front but then some of mine are still nowhere near as knotted up as yours. They are rad. And I love your knitted jumper too, I'm so jelous that you can knit so well!

Oh, about the back. There is not a better back/arm work out than having little kids. I can carry two 35 pound kids in each arm and walk around like it's nothing. I bet gretaoto suffers from the same benefit.

So it will be a year in a couple days. I don't think my hair has changed too much in the last couple months. I am really wanting some length and everyday I am tempted to comb out because I hate how short my hair is. I may dye them lighter blonde but we'll see.

Don't do that, the length will come inevitably, mines at a sort of awkward length at the moment which I don't like where their just longer than my shoulders but arent long enough to fall over them so I kinda miss the shorter ones now ^^

 

Don't comb out your hair seems to be like mine, it gained fatness but didn't start growing until 13 or 14 months in.

wowza G! I just looked at your whole timeline and I'm amazed and slightly envious at how fast your hair dreaded up!!! =] My dreads are shrinking massively now too and it's sooooooo frustrating! I understand your pain! Our dreads are about the same length but yours are waaaaay prettier, tighter, and rounder than mine! They look awesome!

they are an effing gorgeous length. your hair is incredibly sexy. I love them and want them, don't comb! people always look shit when you've seen them with dreads and then not...true story. I don't know anyone who looks better without since combing/cutting.

 

i find myself to be a much more liked person without dreads.
with ladies and parents in particular.
