PS. That is my opinion about soliders and propaganda in this country. It's a throw back to Nazi Germany. My statments in another post have nothing to do with this post. I have not heard any positive things about Iraq. Do not use my words to paint an irrellavent picture of me by skewing them in a totally different subject. Peace and love
Not even within anything I have posted ? Certain parts yeah - I never said It all was. To be honest - I try not to pre-judge someone. I was just being cynical about you. I am sorry. And the same to you too.
>>I don't see anything positive in Iraq, except maybe the botched execution of Saddam(?). If Iraq is so peaceful, would you visit there? Peace and love>> by hippiechick ahh... another pin to burst the bubble of false reasoning mbworkrelated won't even join up to live out his convictions it is unsurprising that he wouldn't go there for a holiday. baghdad is a shangri la if you listen to the spin doctors.
Afghan infant deaths fall by 40,000 a year since ousting of Taleban http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=655792007 Some good news in Afghanistan too.
Opium Harvest Soars At Record Level In Afghanistan http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/03/world/asia/03afghan.html?ex=1314936000&en=77aca21e09c8576e&ei=5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss The Afghan opium harvest has reached record levels, up 49 percent from last year, the United Nations says. Some other success in Afghanistan? I guess, there's been some success of sorts....
Opium up with Taliban protection, US backed government cuts infant mortality 40,000 a year. I guess there's two sides with very different ideas of what's good for Afghanistan.
Its funny that you would look for "US backed government" in the article, either you don't know what government is in power in Afghanistan or you didn't realise the US was supporting it? Its hard to see what exactly you needed the article to tell you. You're the one that can't even spell misspelled. There are alternative spellings for Taliban. UK press often uses Taleban. You could have figured this out with ten seconds of google searching, had you cared enough to bother. Its pretty lame when you hate Bush so much that when you hear that infant mortality is down, you sneer about tax breaks in the US. Its as if lower infant mortality in Afghanistan is bad news for you.
An Iraqi, the other day, publicly apologized for what they've done to us. "Sorry if our flesh harmed your knives."
Well not quite ''Sorry if our flesh harmed your knives... is that what they want us to say? Is this what they came for?'' Everybodys perceptions of success and failure as has been highlighted - varys. Thankyou for bringing that partial quote to my attention - it was illuminating. http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003587276
Thanks for proving my point. Everything everywhere - including whether a child lives or dies in Afghanistan - has to be filtered through your Bush hatred obsession.
A campaign of genocide that reduces infant mortality? What exactly does it take to make you think before you post?
I saw that you said genocide, but I assumed you were just throwing around claims you can't back up. So far looks like I was right. These girls who would have died in childbirth under the Taliban will now be able to go to school, again impossible under the Taliban. The part of this that pisses you off so much is what exactly?
Iraq isn't in Afghanistan you genius. Were you opposed to the US removing the Taliban and supporting the election of a new government or not?
