I really enjoy your work. Have you had any lessons or classes or training of any sort. I would love to learn to take such stunning shots. Do you have a special camera? I am very impressed.
Those are really good....you just got me even more excited because i am taking a photography class in college soon to explore a different way of expressing my artistic ablities..
thank you so much everyone! it makes me happy that you like these pictures. to answer some of your questions, i did not use any special camera. it is a Canon autofocus, non-digital. as for those effects, i suppose i was just making use of the autofocus, by focusing on the light source or the background to achieve the blurring and odd lighting. i didn't edit any of those pictures. that's just how it came out. i have not taken any photography class, but i would recommend it to others. just about everything that i learned came from my older brother, who is a very good photographer who has done it semi-professionally for years. honestly, photography is not hard. you just have to have a camera with you when the right moment comes around. and it always does i will have some more up here soon......
I really, really don't like to be the mean negative one, cause i really do love the pictures aswell, but (please don't hit me) i thought the first and second ones were a bit of a cliche- i've just seen them both done so many times before. then again, i couldn't do any better and i guess it's better to start with getting the best possible cliche you can manage before moving onto more individual stuff. So yeah, carry on and don't let evil people like me put you down.
I'm very impressed. The one with the trees by the water is cool, I like how you turned the world upside down and made the water the sky... I would also love to see something by way of the pier done in black and white...would LOVE to see what you can do with black and white. teepi
did you take these where you live? i'm jealous. it must be somewhere beautiful. and you.. damn you and your talent!
I absolutely love your pictures. they make me smile! i wish i was as talented as you. keep it up, and i look forward to seeing some more of your work. Cori
