I don't know if you've been watching the Bob Ross series on BBC 4? It's called The Joy of Painting, and is shown Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm.

You should watch the Bob Ross programmes. He manages to paint a landscape in half an hour, and each one is brilliant. The way he does it is very impressive, as he uses the relative difference in viscosity between the different layers of paint in order to paint it all in one session. Basically he starts with very viscous layers for the backgrounds and gradually uses thinner paint as he brings in the closer items. He also uses lots of tricks to fool the eye into seeing more depth than you'd normally see in a painting. You'll have to watch an episode and see what I mean.

LOL. I don't know. Reality bites, Candy. My version of our relationship includes getting married. But she is much younger, and though she knows it's coming it's not in the front of her mind like it is in mine...

It's been a bit of an adjustment understanding that it's not happening right away. I have to be fair to her though. I love her, it's true. But despite my best intentions we live 11,000 km apart. I don't know if it will ever actually happen, but I can hope and pray.

 

Oh, it will. I am coming to the Wedding. xxxx
