of course, we all know the best way to commit suicide is to go to google, type in 'Chuck Norris' and hit 'I'm Feeling Lucky'
You know, we could go though this and prove everything wrong that all those fucktards have said, but i just going to say ive developed deep disgust at certain members
I've known at least a good four or five in the past two years if you don't really consider my uncle (could have been meds, could have been my family's inherited enlarged heart). My uncle was manic depressive and had a bunch of things. He was on methadone and nearly every painkiller and antidepressant I've ever heard of. They just handed it to him wheever he wanted since he was going to the VA hospital at Duke Uni. in Durham. He got hit by a truck while doing PT for the army, ten years ago. Spent the rest of his life trying to keep up with everyone else. and aside from those, I lost a two friends to car crashes in 2005, as well as my grandmother to diabetes. My school has one of the highest death rates in the commonwealth of VA. We have a gigantic bulletin board at the main enterance/cafeteria where people just write messages to anyone that has died. After awhile, death strikes you bluntly. When someone else leaves the feeling of "another one..." just hits you and then there comes accepting that nothing can be done now and it's alright, it's what they wanted.
And as for all of you, I wish alot of people would stay out of YH, but you can't always get what you want, can you? ... then shut the hell up and move on with your lives.
my buddy jachen, who, the summer after graduation, died cliffjumping on the island. hannah , who died in a car accident. scott, who had an aneurysm. caleb, paralyzed drinking and driving. laura and renaud, got hit by a stolen car. thats all within the grade right above and right below me.
Most people (95%) commit suicide because they are mentally ill, usually with some form of depression or something much worse like bi-polar disorder or schizophrenia. Its not a decision. Its a physical condition. Anyone who judges people who are suicidal as stupid are really the stupid ones. Being suicidal is the same as breaking an arm, but the injury is different. Would you call somebody stupid who broke their arm? I mean, its stupid that they decided to break their arm. They are stupid for deciding to break their arm, in any case, even if it was an accident or somebody else broke it. I'm being sarcastic, but I'm trying to get a point across. I bet that soon or later they will find that all suicidal people and people who commit suicide are mentally ill (as opposed to the irrefutable 95%). Their illness destroys their ability to think rationally so they make irrational decisions like the decision to blow their brains out. We believe alot of stupid shit, and this is a great example. Theres no social stigma against breaking your arm, but there is against being suicidal, which just makes the problem that much worse. People need to acknowledge that it is an illness and not a choice. Thinking the way many of you have expressed that you do just stops people from getting treatment, because you don't understand that it is a mental illness. If you broke your arm, would you not get it put in a cast? So if you were suicidal, would you not go to counselling or a doctor? Most suicidal people, maybe all suicidal people, just want attention. Isolation leads to lonliness which leads to depression which leads to commiting suicide. People commit suicide for a large variety of reasons. In a post earlier somebody said they had to talk their friend out of suicide over a phone. Now, I seriously doubt that anybody could be suicidal over JUST a phone. There was much more to it than that. Once your suicidal (and mentally ill) you lose the ability to handle problems the way other people do, or even handle them at all.
mentally ill?? every human on earth could be diagnosed with a mental illness.. hhehehhehehehheh mentally ill?? how about mentally inept at handling reality?
probably people like hippyhillbilly and moon who drive people to insanity............it makes me wonder what certain types are even doing on this forum
You could spend hours analysing and write heavy books about the subject, but in the end.... sometimes death just feels right... And as it may be selfish, living just for other people isn't a life in the first place...
