That's really sad
My school has a very high suicide rate. No one has ever killed themselves while I've been there, but since 1995 there's been 4 kids who were either students of my school or recent grads that have killed themselves.

 

its selfish.. plane an simple.. there gone they cant be brought back..

its just the way it is..

my highschool lost a lot of kids, but almost never to suicide. six grad classes in a row had lost at least one person to something retarded.

we were drinkers and drivers you see.

there are a lot of memorial scholarships now.

 

Maybe by the time you're 120 you've been close to that many people who've died that you can be that disconected, but that's partly because you've lost a lot of higher brain function too.

Grieving over death is selfish? What else is their to grieve over? The rainforests? Cause frankly, I've never been to South America and I'm doing alright.

 

That's why most people above the age of 6 aren't really sure theres a heaven, and believe in it as a defense mechanism. So a part of their loved ones lives on, but it's hard to deal with the reality of they are dead without seeing photographic proof there is heaven.

 

Chemical imbalance. Oh, blah. So, the next time I have a problem with something someone says, I can blame it on a chemical imbalance and kill myself. Thanks.

4 people offed themselfs at my friends school this year., because of the competitivness and the school is very large in suburbia i guess...
We havent had a suicide at this school this year, but somebody killed themselves last year. I think its less common out here. but that may just be my perspective.
