Some Good People Are Not Still Around

Since I first started reading this website, there are a number of people who no longer contribute. Examples are: the gentleman from Germany, the ice queen from Canada, plus Tat Girl, the gentleman from South Africa among others. Part of the reason may be that they lost interest. And part of it may be some of the silliness that some people put forth such as, "I went barefoot from the bed to the shower" or, "I don't understand what this is all about" or some other nonsense. I'm glad that we still have a number of good contributors. I think the same thing is true of the of the companion nudist website as well.

 

Apparently some think that this is a forum, whereby some get to proclaim nasty responses (right to free speech and all) instead of treating it as a “safe haven” wherein we agree to disagree with some equanimity. Some posters here may have driven away others; otherwise, people do come and go, speaking of Michelangelo. C’est la vie....

 

people grow out of things. people die, unfortunately. life drags us out of our best loved things. I miss a lot of people that just vanished. but this forum is still alive and kicking!

well you know, the internet. I still regret the eighties. if people wanted to bug you they had very few chances while today everyone with too much time in their hands (and a bad attitude, of course) can waste his time being a dick on some forum. or chase you around the www. it sucks but it is the world of Today

Oh please give me a break .....I've been here a decade and this forum has always been very slow and by the way it was me who said bare feet into the shower only LOL thanks for remembering that post ..... I've had plenty of good conversations with the barefooters but I've also gotten into it with a few of the more indignant ones and maybe codger if you posted more and nuspieds if you posted more the rest would come out of the woodwork..... Also you people stay right here in this forum for the most part where as at least Glenn goes out into the rest of the forum with his stinky bare feet ..y. you guys are also welcome over in the stoners lounge you realize that right?

i used to be on ages ago...but yeah got a bit bored with it all.....down here in NZ there is no novelty about being barefoot, so no real value 'churning stuff' over and talking about how dirty your feet are, or where you got kicked out of......thats all bullshit to me and totally unrelatable. getting kicked out of stores for being barefoot is an american problem, and its no better than it was years ago.....

 

Just leave your feet here... Okay? Thanks.

 

Perhaps in general people that actively go barefoot has decreased in recent years because it's not a fashion trend. This past summer I saw the grand total of 1 barefoot girl in public compared with other years where it would be 3 or 4 plus myself.

In regards to the forum I still enjoy logging in everyday and posting my thoughts periodically.

 

I think RT19 has hit the nail on the head. Barefooting just isn't a thing any more so this forum is even more esoteric than ever. I'm pleased to read though that this remains untrue of NZ, so welcome back Solemum, good to see you back.

 

Except for a few colleges, I don't know anywhere in the U.S. where bare footing is popular these days and I suspect it is a tiny minority at enlightened campuses. I was really hoping for a resurgence this year, but this turned out to be maybe the worst yet, although I have a neighbor who actually gets in the car and goes places barefoot, but not regularly and sometimes I see young barefoot folks taking trash to the communal dumpster. Not like the golden age from the 60s to early 90s when a trip to the store, downtown or the mall would find at least a few like-minded people. But it was always a minority.

some good people are not still around. some good people are around that didn't used to be. it's the nature of life, and it's especially the nature of forums.

 

Hi there! Still here but not so often.

 

I get put off the barefoot forum because I can't tell who just enjoys being barefoot and who it's a sexual thing for because I just don't want to be part of that. Not judging those who find it to be sexy but I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea. Are we talking about whether a given surface is pleasant or are we talking about whether it gets us off or not, there's no way of knowing.

 

Many surfaces are pleasing in and of themselves, whether warm, cool, dry, wet, coarse (like old church floors), or smooth. Then again, all that sensory inout can be used for erotic purposes; it varies from person to person. There’s no way for anyone to know, unless a poster says so.

 

Some of these people are a real pest. But I found all of them on FB ,that's one of the reasons why I ditched that pit of hell and all the other socials altogether while being at that. Our pervs show at least some restraint ! Our pervs are the best pervs !
