Solitary nudism

I'd love to become a nudist/naturist I love being naked, after spending weekends with my boyfriend basically being naked all weekend (not because it was easier for sexual activities.. I just enjoyed being so free) I found clothing so restricting on the monday

If I could I'd be naked all the damn time!! I live in a flat with fellow students at the moment, and with my anxious nature I find it uncomfortable that someone may knock on my door at any time... So I tend not to be naked, but I'd love to be I may just have to bite the bullet with this one- my door is lockable after all ^^

But yes, I do enjoy being naked alone and yes, inregards to a comment before it has helped my confidence to be naked around others, but only my boyfriend xD May have to take a little more oomph of confidence to go out into a 'resort' or to go to a beach late at night and go skinny dipping with close friends... *sigh* dreams ^^

 

Nice one dragonvine. Like you once you've been nake for a while it eels so natural thats really hard to get dresses again. Nice to hear that youre not a lone naturist (does you bf stay naked as well?). Once you feel that comfortable naked, i don't think you'd have any problem being naked with others about - have you ever thought of going to Abbey gardens on one of their clothes optional days?

I'm hoping to go camping this year in the summer, the campsite is on a cliff edge with the beach below... Such a gorgeous place... Am hoping to get me and my bf and my best friend and her bf skinny dipping Can't wait Shame it isn't a nudist campsite xD I'm sure a bikini would be alright though ;D

 

Abbey gardens are in Malmsbury - very beautiful. They have several CO weekends each year - see their website.

Where are the cliffs you hope to go to? mind you don't wander too near the edge in middle of night!

Are you able to go naked at all at home, eg after shower, ironing your clothes, early morning (with just dressing gown you can easily slip out of). Would anyone mind?

Skinny dipping is a great excuse - as is a game of forfeits or strip poker

I have engaged in solitary nudism if on a beach or in a sauna on my own. For me it's what I want to do without clothes that is important, not whether or not there are others. I prefer to swim nude and hate saunas with swimwear on.

 

Most of my nudity is while alone--even though I live in a nudist resort. I'm not nude for other people's pleasure; I'm nude for my pleasure. I HATE clothes and LOVE being nude.

 

I'm nude most of the time by myself at home, but I work at home. When my wife gets home she joins me when she gets home. Depending on what I'm doing in the garage will depend on if Im nude. As much as possiable.

 

Several years ago, I belonged to a nudist club near where I live. I loved to go there in the middle of the week, when there were few, if any, other people there. I would undress at my car, then walk naked about the place.

They had quite a large grounds so it was possible to walk as far as a half mile from my car. It was a wonderful feeling to be so naked and alone, and feeling "vulnerable".

A few times I did encounter others, even once a couple of clothed workmen who were installing a heating unit and I helped them move it in. They didn't seem to care that I was naked, and it didn't bother me that they were clothed.

Another time, I admitted a couple who were "curious" about the place and stood and talked with them for several minutes while I was naked and they were fully clothed. It seemed perfectly natural to be naked in their presence since they were on "my" turf.

i think it's great to have open minded friends accepting us to stay the way we like it when we are with them. It's a real gift.

 

Everybody should embrace the positives of solitary naturism (nudism) and work toward getting over any sense of loneliness to explore your inner self and the things you can do. Even the most mundane things like walking, preparing breakfast, putting the tent up etc., take on an entirely new and enthusing dimension if you are naked. Much of my bushwalking is solitary in wilderness areas, and nude in Spring-Summer as far as possible; I sometimes stay in a hut for the atmosphere or reading visitor log books, magazines or just taking in the environment. To everybody, don't dream it, do it!

I remain troubled by textiles booking into clothing optional or naturist retreats (both terms apply to the business I belong to) and their awkward response to nudists and even more awkward presence close to nudists while they are literally dressed to the nines. The trouble though is that in Australia there is no money involved in providing for nudists accomodation-wise; but there is good money in providing for textiles seeking a quiet retreat. Blending the two skillfully takes time and error; in the end, partial segregation and briefing on arrival of textiles is the way to some harmony, but as a long-time nudist I find it awkward to be in the presence of people who are non-nudists.

 

I am content to be in clothes optional facilities with people who have swimwear on, providing they sit on a towel where appropriate as I do. If all places in the UK that allow clothes optional use insisted on nude use at these times, they would lose too much business and close down. So I take a pragmatic view.

I have just recently discovered the joy and freedom of being nude as much as possible in my own home and look forward to outdoor nudity in the future. my wife is very accepting of it in private and will occasionally be partly nude herself around the house. we have talked about visiting a local adult nudist resort, but she insists that she will not disrobe around other people, but will indulge my " fantasy " by going along. my wife believes this is a midlife crises, but it is in fact something I have always believed in but never acted on.

 

I enjoy being nude either alone or with others. I do not have the chance to be nude with others so most of my nude time is either alone or with my wife. I am very comfortable with getting up in the morning and staying nude until it is time to either go to work or go out to do something. and it is very relaxing to come home from work, shower and remain nude for the rest of the day. If I lived closer to nude venues, then I would be happy to occasionally visit, but there are none close by so I am confined to home at this time for my nude time. But hey, any nude time is good nude time!

 

Its the only time I can be naked, I'm 17 so I still live with my parents and they don't know (not the most understanding people) so I'm usually naked in my room alone. But I would like to be naked with other people if I get the chance.
