Okay let's agree not to agree. Because:

As far as i have learnt you are at least 2 or 3 generations old Canadian, you have your properties, your assets had been heritaged you by your ancestors and you claim that those lands are yours. You don't like socialist ideas because you don't want to share your assets or your land. Because without your assets heritaged by your ancestors you will have to work as hard as avarage people.

I don't have any lands or any assets which has been heritaged to me by my ancestors. All i got are my skills and labor. I like socialist ideas because i don't want to work as a slave anymore. I want to take advantage of mother earth as well as you guys. I like socialist ideas because i like the idea of being valued due to my skills and labor, not due to skills and labor of my ancestors.

If i was in your situation, i would feel the same and i would think and talk against the socialism as well. If you were in my situation you would feel the same and think and talk against capitalism. Because we are all greedy humans yet. :)

Such a blatant example of fallacious thinking, on mutiple levels! First of all, Uganda, is a socialist country primarily because, like most African countries, it lacked an indigenous entrepreneurial class. Under British colonialism, they were assigned the role of supplying raw materials for British industry. It is not only socialist, but was relatively poor when it came to independence, one of the poorest countries in Africa--depending mainly on agricultural cash crops like coffee, cotton and tea. That said, the economy is enjoying a higher rate of economic growth than the U.S. and Canada, and significant oil reserves are beginning to be developed. Uganda also contends with an influx of refugees from Sudan to the north that taxes its resources. There is no rational basis for saying Uganda is poor because of its socialism.

As for Canada, the country you live in is a social democracy and welfare state, which you confuse with socialism. It is no more "socialist" than the Scandanavian countries, which seem to be doing well. It does not seek to supplant capitalism and government ownership of industries is limited, confined mainly to a few provinces. Your government's policies toward immigrants have nothing whatsoever to do with socialism. Socialist countries haven't been particuarly immigrant friendly.

Yes Uganda is a victim of British colonialism. Colonialism is a form of racism.

So as a socialist, are you saying immigration is a problem? That immigration taxes our resources in Canada and The USA and causes our taxes to rise? Uses up resources and this is a problem? Uganda is socialist. Uganda has illegal immigration and refugees. It is taxing their resources and ours resources here and increasing our taxes to support them. It is taking away jobs from Ugandan people... same with in the USA and canada. Influx of refugees and immigrants is bad to socialists....Got it. By the way, I am native to this land. Keep that in mind.

You say socialists are against immigration.... as a socialist, are You against Illegal immigrants and refugees or for it?

I am not for the taking of my land to give to whoever the socialists, the UN here say deserve my peoples land. I asked before, what good has immigration ever done?

Thanks. I just spotted this. It's not only a mean accusation, but a lie. I'm not remotely connected with Antifa, never have nor ever will be, and don't think I know anyone else who is.

don’t we all like that idea of being valued for our skills. It is like same problems but dealt with in different ways by a government that seeks ways to solve problem, we have to considered the most difficult to employ first. yet only ever creates disillusioned people and denies those who have slaved for this government, Create the utopian society. It isnt like what you think it is like. The grass always looks greener from the other side. Once people are on the other side, they too are disappointed. It wasn’t suppose to be like this. And the native people like me, who have nothing... is forgotten as this is not the idea in place for one world. Doesn’t matter that we have always been here... nothing is mine, we are told. . I am nothing. Look at the bigger picture. This is what I a, told. Look to the greater picture. I don’t matter. All that matters is the greater good, whatever that might be, day to day, whatever groups take exception to. I can’t look at the greater picture anymore, I can’t think of the greater good anymore. I can’t be told what should matter to me, when I don’t matter.

Many view Sweden as socialist. However, the country is, in fact, very pro-capitalism, but does it with redistribution through taxes. Personal income is taxed at a rate of 61.85 percent, plus a 7 percent social security tax rate for employees. On top of these taxes, Sweden also has a 25 percent consumption tax.

Let’s make this really easy: there are no socialist countries in the world right now. There are two countries in the world constitutionally committed to building socialism (Cuba and Laos), two countries that claim to be “socialism with X characteristics” (China and Vietnam) but the “socialism” is all but identical to capitalism, and one weird misfit country that claims to practice a unique and superior form of socialism (North Korea).

Other than that, there are no countries claiming to be, or widely accepted as, socialist. Belgium, like most North-West European states has a number of socialist features that have emerged as a result of class struggle and history. Belgium may well be among the “most socialist” countries in the world but, honestly, that really isn’t saying much.

Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Austria all have strong features of socialism but are not socialist. The Nordics have even more developed socialist features, but also aren’t socialist.

You can go from one end of Europe to the other but you will not find any socialist countries there."

and let’s not forget Venezuela, who was praised for their socialism, By the UN, yet it failed. And people screamed, but it was not suppose to be like this. The utopian dream crumbled. Socialists said, but That is not what we mean.

the prospects are not looking good for socialism and what a socialist country is.

Let's not forget Venezuela was under constant attack by the Bush and Trump administrations because they were a successful socialist nation. They are also still members of OPEC like Iraq and Libya. That's why the USA had them in their sights. Iraq, Iran, Libya, and Venezuela were trying to sell their own oil for none US Dollar currency. The abusive Americans want to force these nations to sell for US Dollars only.

I think Denmark is a socialist nation with some free market flavor. America on the other hand is a socialist nation with social security.

"doesn't matter that we have always been here." Your people were there a billion years ago? Don't think so.
