Medicare is for people aged 65 and older, and yes, for those on disability under certain circumstances too.

My original point was about working people who have private insurance, losing both their jobs and insurance. Medicare is completely unrelated to that.

Medicaid eligibility is dependent upon which state you live in. Again, thanks to Obama, medicaid eligibility was greatly expanded but certain states that hate the whole socialist slave mindset refused to accept the expansion.
So in my state, for example, one does not qualify for Medicaid unless they are basically indigent and without any possessions ( I know all about this because I used to work with the elderly who had to do fucking spend downs to qualify....meaning, sell their homes, spend the profit, then they can get Medicaid. It wouldnt kill you to recognize maybe you dont know as much about this as you think you do)
