I stopped watching the news (as much as I could) when Trump became president. Just too much sadness, stresses me out.
To be honest I can't imagine my life without Instagram. I can spend hours watching photos and cool stories. Right now I'm working on my Insta promotion and I found cool XPLOD Social service that can help to boost Insta followers. Never thought it could be so easy to do. I want to become popular and start making money on Instagram ads.
I limit myself these days. I decided that it was something i can manage to go without sometimes. I don't have TicToc. I tried it and thought what a terrible app. I have twitter and fb but it doesn't matter if i don't post on them
I actuly think I've faded away from Facebook at this point in time. It's just so boring with the same memes shared by people and fake news and fake everything and all the politics. I'd say I spend maybe I'll go 20mins a day looking at it. To be honest I much prefer spending my time on the forums here talking to you morons.
Twinsies Besides here (where I have anonymity that I love) I'm on Insta and Tik Tok. And I use pinterest for recipes and stuff. Only on FB as a formality. Dont really use it at all
I have a facebook and a twitter, but I don't post pics. No Insta cuz pics... blechhh! I am not photogenic enough. And no Tik Tok. I can't even figure out how to look for someone without having an account on Tik Tok; I don't think you can.
I am at work the crib with my shawty no find this place better than Facebook but I toggle back and forth but this site is better you people talk back
Plenty of other things to do in life. Work Study Family & friends Volunteer Play sport Hobbies Chores Sleeping/relaxation Like anything, moderation is the key.
I think it is sad when in real life you lose contact with friends because they move away. FB is a bells & whistles phone-book for me. I only read my FB feed if I am bored. I have met some interesting people on there though. One woman who befriended me after I posted an anecdote of encountering a ghost, she posted a meme saying if you have to tiptoe around others, you are in the wrong tribe.
I have facebook, twitter and instagram. I'm not on them all the time. But when i am i'm either responding to a status that is a good one for me to answer or i'm wishing somebody a happy birthday or something. Twitter i check every now and then. Too many trolls on all social media. The less time i spend on social media the better.
I don't Tik Tok because I'm over 30, but that's a basic sane security feature. Fuck unauthenticated user enumeration.
I use a few forums and that's it. I don't get the appeal of Twitter and some of the other social media sites. Maybe that's because I'm old.
Oh.. I really understand you. It's so hard for me to stop checking Instagram account every hour. But there is an other side of social media addiction. You can freely gain more knowledges, more info. Or even work through social media and make money with it. Social media marketing I guess. I don't use directly IG app. Instagram viewer is my solution when I want to check interesting people or groups. I like my sm addiction because I can get profit from it
My flip phone died and my husband bought me a smartphone but I don't use it for all those places either. No Facebook no Twitter no anything except here. I had a desktop computer a long time ago but our cabin burned and so did the computer. I was on these forums before any of the big social media platforms existed. I remembered this place a few weeks ago and here I am again.
