The key in the name football is foot. And to a lesser extent ball too, yes Not men/manly.
Soccer is how its called in countries that have never really been good at it :-D

We're a football nation though. The national male team was just too new. Not a good team yet. They blew it in the qualifications, no way around that.
The women are doing great in the qualifications!

Iceland is playing better (against Argentina)! So far at least.. Impressive!

 

The Germans have already set a new record, even without playing a game: They arrived with a number of 10,000 in Moscow, which beats the previous record set in 1942 by 40 km!

The Nigerian football team said because of their poor performance in their opening World Cup game, they’ll refund fans. To get the full refund all you have to do is.. ...send your bank details, pin number and they will transfer the money directly.

I’m an avid sports fan but like many other Americans when it comes to soccer we just understand the fascination the rest of world has with that sports.

I'm perplexed, it's the most boring thing on earth outside of watching paint dry

 

Don't cut yourself on that edge. The NFL is not that great. But to the average outsider I guess it's easy to apply a lot of politics to it especially with the whole knelling issue.

 

They never have commercials. This is why this sport will never work in Ameirca. Watch any of the sports we invented. Bet it's maximum 8-10 minutes probably much less before you see 2-3 minutes of ads.
