So..Why can't love save the world?...

All that is necessary for the forces of evil to win in this world is for enough good people to do nothing. just do what you can, little by little the world can be made a better place

 

gotta stop questioning it for it to work properly.

that's what the beatles told us. I always believed them wholeheartedly.

But, can we? Is the reason we keep getting worse and staying the same simple because we can't get the love right? Because we haven't yet achieved our goal of spreading love enough?

Or is it that love really isn't the only answer? And maybe that's the reason it hasn't "worked" yet?

Or, is the attempt to "save the world" futile in itself, as this physical state simply cultivates suffering and we can do nothing about that, besides try and learn so we may transcend into a better place?

 

Damn, man, that's a lot of questions, good ones...

I guess alot of people are scare of love..that's why we need to spread the love so they could spread the love to others...

I say shit happens, there is an equal and opposite net force reaction for every action.... but you can try. Depends on my day . If somebody attacked me... I may hug them. If somebody attacked me later, I might make innapropriate hand gestures with my digitus impudicus.

I think about it every day,I ask wise and old people the same thing,but,nowone knows an anwser...

Ok... Heres whit I think (break out your pencils kids.) The idea of love overcoming our differences and obsticles is a sweet and cherrishable idea, but however nice its also a little far from the truth. Love will not save the world unless we kill off everyone but one type of thinker. For example, look at the Gay rights issue. People standing outside of gay weddings screaming at them, holding up signs like "God hates fags" "Homosexuals arent people." You think they can experience love to that degree where the will accept everybody and everything for who and what they are? Certainlly not. This is because athourity figures like priests and such have educated their parents for a direct mindset (God's Will and that rubbish) and those parents have directly transfered the thought process to their children who are now coming of age. No, I dont think love can save this world because we have to much ignorance, resistance, decadence, hate and fear. When the end comes (and it will) the survivors will have to pull together to make it and learn to love the gay man for who he is. When we all relize how much we need each other no matter what, thats when love will save the world.

 

Love does save the world each and every day. Without love there would not be balance to the amount of hate in the world. So love makes sure hate doesn't overpower. Does this make any sense?

 

Love is what keeps hate in check. Without love, the world would be doomed to an uprising of hatred. Does this make any sense?

Love and peace are my favorite weapons. The movie LEGEND taught me love can't exist without hatred of some sort. Here's what I really think though: WORLD PEACE: WE CAN ALL HAVE IT IF WE ALL WANT IT. I've told a million people that. I've told them in person, I've told them through my music, and I've told them through my writing. Nothing's gonna change my world.

 

Someday, if love ever did save the world, do you think we'd notice it?
