my husband is a huge fan of cat stevens. i'll keep saying cat stevens merely because that's the name he used when he wrote and recorded these. and i'm not sure about my spelling of the new name. i never listened to him until i met dave. my parents were funky, dave's were hippies. some really good shit.
I like Cat Stevens. People overreact to stuff like this - it's a shame. I saw him on CNN with Larry...Larry Larry whatshisface, talking about this new assumption he's some sort of terrorist simply because he's Muslim. It's all very sad, really. And really, really good music.
