SO, now its like....

5 days til I depart. SIgh....I am very torn..kinda exited, kinda dreading....kinda eh....its only sicks(6) months....

 

six months is a long time. my nephew trevor leaves next weekend. He will be gone for 7 months.

I will miss you crummy! where are you going? (and yes i know where you are going, i just want to know where you are going to actually go. ya know like sri lanka, phillipines, australia etc.)

 

So he came in?
I cannot tell you the dates....but I will be in palma and naples before I go to the Persian gulf...after that I dont know.

 

lol.......wrong nephew, that would be nick that is UA. Trev is on his way for his 2nd tour in Iraq. (trev, is the good one)

do they have computers on the the ships?

 

sure do, but they dont always have internet access

Can I ask why they send you guys out for 6 months at a time? I thought they just send the ships directly to combat situations and then back home again.
