wow..........Shocbomb...........you are the antithesis of everything I stand for, and here I thought you were a stand up, enlightened fellow, just goes to show first impressions don't account for anything. Let me put in my two cents:
America has become a shithole, a cesspool of ignorance, and rapidly becoming one of the most oppressive societies in the world. Also the American economy has become a service economy which is unsustainable, America is living on borrowed time, we have the largest percentage of national debt in the history of the world, the American republic has become the American empire, and like all empires throughout world history is destined to fail.

Being able to dose successfully with the person you love is strongly indicative of a beautiful future, it can help you grow as a couple, and truly understand each other on a level most couples will never reach.

Legalizing or at the very least decriminalizing all drugs would reduce crime and addiction, their are countless studies pointing to this, the only reason the drug war rages on is due to criminal profiteering by government entities across the globe.

Judging someone based on a criminal charge is completely below the belt, you know nothing about what that man is going through, and though you may have freedom of speech, it does not give you the conscientious right to judge anyone without all facts.

You tend to hold yourself up on a pedestal under the premise that you are reformed and mature, quite the contrary. Your very words in this thread have proven you to be nothing more than another mindless American drone complicit to swallow whatever flavored rhetoric is being shoved down your throat. I do not believe you have grown up in the least, more likely you have become a shill to the society that once oppressed your own psyche, and now you are defending a flawed ideologue in a desperate attempt to remain accepted by that society, for shame brother.

Wonderful post Rob, I wish I had been in the state of mind to properly organize my thoughts and lay them out as clearly as you have for me lol :tongue: Being judged is shitty, I mean I know that we as individuals shouldnt allow another individual to have that power on our rational mindset, but I was being broken down by this girl I met last night at a party, she seemed cute at first but man, when she learned some things of my lifestyle and my beliefs, she had a damn field day putting me down as a parent, and as a human being in general, which for some reason left me feeling like a horrible person.I was buzzing on some morphine from earlier, so I was feeling pretty low after she said all this crap. If only people could just come to terms with the fact that we are all different and beautiful in our own ways

 

surprisly i cant agree with lagalising all drugs. although id love all drugs to be legal, there is this other side of me that see things the 'their way'. some drugs can just make your morals go down, and turn you into a different person, and not for the better.

natural drugs like shrooms and marijuana, even lsd i think should be legal. (lsd being derived from ergot or whatever being natural)
coke, ice, even E sorry, should stay illegal for the ultimate good of society.
usually im one to hate society, but lately iv come around and i guess i see things differently. sure we pay taxes and shit, but what if we didnt. life wouldnt be the same, the streets, just everthing. im goin to bed, but im sure some on this forum are deffinalty against societies functions in a manner of speaking. bah, so am i in some ways.

you got half of it right I am white but thats not to hard to tell it says it right under my name ? I was raised Baptist not Catholic but I have not been to church sence I was 13. I would say my political stance is in the middle some issues I lean towards the left and some to the right. The way I talk is just the truth I don't live in a fantasy world where all drugs are good for you and the U.S goverment is the Enemy.

I respect your opinion, and I respect you as an individual even more for not resorting to baseless tactics and spouting of nonsensical rhetoric, BRA-fucking-VO! I am very against the majority of drugs myself (with the exception of psychadelics), but I have read enough studies indicative of reduction in crime and addiction in relation to decriminalization to make me an advocate of this practice. Also i'm totally for most taxes with the exception of Federally regulated taxes on individuals, that money (predominantly the FIT) just goes to line the coffers of the private banks that are members of the Federal Reserve, transportation/road expenses are paid exclusively through fuel taxes, schools/local leo's are paid exclusively through state taxes (mostly property), and the defense budget is commisserate with the taxes paid by corporations.

 

Shocbomb - the point you are trying to make is that if you dont like your country you should just leave - then you point out how there are many other countries worse off then your own.

you are only a part of the problem and most of the people reading this thread would agree.

if you dont like the country you live in you should do all that you can to make it a better place to live. if you leave you are only abandoning everyone else. there is not one country in this world that is perfect - they all need improvement - and that is why most people would fight for a change when they see it necessary.

you say that we should just accept north america or the states or canada for what it is - our grandfathers went to war so that we could have this so called free country and we should just take it how it is. NO - it is not free and that is why we must all do our part (whatever that may be) to make our home a better place- stop wasting your life away and dedicate it to making your home country one where we can all live in peace with our personal freedoms intact.
