actually phish is pretty good. ive seen 69 shows, and i was only gonna see 2 this summer, but i guess ill have to go see more. there are other good jambands though. although string cheese incident is pretty lame now, they are one, ore leftover salmon is fun, theres particle and keller williams and moe and YMSB. theres a ton of them . . ..

 

if it makes you happy ..and is not hurting anyone else...go for it

phish never hurt anyone with there music...

 

just cuz its not good for you doesnt mean it isnt good for other people. why the hell isnt it good for you anyway? what have you heard by them?

but you are partially right, some people dont like them because they havent listened enough, or a lot of other reasons i could think of.

Actually, I've listened to a lot of Phish. I hate them, as well as jam bands in general.

And I don't see how what type a person someone is has anything to do with their music. Lots of nice guys have made bad music, and lots of assholes have made great music.

but anyway back to phish...i used to be a real jerk..but then i found phish one summer and it made me alot calmer more peaceful and much much nicer...it helped me become the person i am today and i never wanna go back

 

ive heard these guys before, i never seen why people love em so much...its very boring music never got me interested the least bit.
same with the Grateful Dead, boring and overrated

that was my first impression when i heard my first grateful dead song too. but i figured they had to be some of what their cracked up to be, so i stuck with it and came to really love them. of course they have some songs i dont like as much as others, but dont all bands? its impossible to please everybody all the time y'know

 

It is sad that you are so weak minded that shit like Phish can change your entire perspective on life. I bet that you're one of those people who feel like murdering after seeing a murder movie.... or those people who want to be rock starts after hearing a song....
