What makes you think that Roberts plans to outlaw anything, let alone condoms? He's going to uphold precedents and interpret laws, not make new ones. I don't think he has ever expressed any objection to birth control, regardless.
Okay, from the tone of your initial post it seemed as if you actually bought into everything being said in this thread.
The most disappointing part of the Left, is how devided they are. Coming from the far Right (enjoying a current affair with socialism), where unification is everything, it's understandable how western liberals/conservatives share power while the Left is left out. As we are talking on women's issues, best to stay the course there. Women's groups spend more time fighting amongst themselves. They have been too political, that they often are party driven and exclude many advocats. I was once kicked out of a womens center for being President of my campus's Canadian Alliance club. They defaced me in the media because even though I was a woman fighting in the public eye, they didn't like political beliefs, and my outfit. It's much harder being a woman in conservative politics when you are up against an army of WASP males. Women's groups tend to push a certain political agenda, that now has back fired against them. In order to maintain women's rights, and push an agenda of equality the bra-burners and the wonderbra wearing women need to work together. I'm a Spice Girl Margaret Thatcher feminist. I wear knee high boots, and good god I have a Louis Vuitton. I wear pearls to church on sunday, and I'm Martha F***ing Stewart in the kitchen. Feminist Activists come in all shades. Party politics has to go. We can fight each other on election day, not when it comes to basic human rights.
