and you like to argue.....thank you though...

obviously i wasnt discussing our governments response to this situation but rather what the world sees us as...and the image that our government has....and its an image that is very reflexive of its true nature...its extremely greedy...
just cause your greedy and self-righteous doesnt mean you dont take care of the people that you need in order to be able to thrive....

Maybe he can show up in a cape and flight suit again.

It's amazing listening to that man speak.

"There was an environmental disaster in New Orleans." (gee really?) "It was of immense magnitude." (wow, you saw CNN too...)

Maybe if he starts saying stuff other than the obvious I'll listen...

Um... I don't want to sound like someone who wasn't saddened by this tradgedy, I was deeply, but I heard that people were told to get out of there, with enough time in hand for them to do so, and places for them to go arranged, but some decided to stay. If this was the case, then while I still have sympathy, in buckets that is, it seems to be partly their fault if they stayed behind... whether to loot to belongings of others or because they thought they could brave it.

Yeah, as if the poor black population of the poorest parts of one of the poorest states would just be able to say "you know honey maybe we should break out the gold card and arrange for four flights to a hotel in New England. Perhaps the chalet in the Hamptons."

The rich and middle class got out. Those with nothing stayed.

i recently heard that many (who in the first place couldnt afford to get out), not having electricity, could not recieve news of the levies breaking, and they were trapped. It was a whole bunch of reasons why people were trapped.
But there were a lot of people who stayed just because theyre...well theyre just like that. Like one guy i heard on the news, he was staying with his son, "like many of the other men on his block", because he thought his concrete house would be able to withstand the winds. I guess he was trying to prove something, kind of like the captain goes down with his ship kind of thing. you know, a man doesnt run away from a bit of wind and water.

some tried to brave it....many many many didnt have transportation to go anywhere...many didnt even own cars....so its not there fault...i am sure if they were given the opportunity they would not have braved it....

I didnt waste my time reading all the bs but I must say fuckem the higher power or whoever watches over us could not of picked a better city, well maybe the whole state of cali but thats another issue.

The fine city.......I mean the smartly built city under sea level is now where it was meant to be in the first place. And the fact that the majority of the pop. is black.......well they wearnt meant to be here in the first place we just fucked up and brought them over cause our elders were lazy and didnt want to do thier own work.

Oh im sure the sand niggers are dancin a jig over all this, they could only get two buildings and mother nature just cleaned house.

I myself hope this is a consistant pattern and will continue to clear our costal states of the trash that our so advanced race has fucked up.

Anyone see this footage of ignorant assholes yelling at the cameras to supply them with food and water? One man screams "i got a 3 month old baby who needs milk hows she gonna survive in these conditions?" Does he think hes the only fucking person affected by the storm? What a complete jackass.
