    This isn't spammertizing, the reason for this thread, and whats freakin me out, its that its a pretty cool little laptop with a 2.16 Ghz processor and I bought it for $319 AUD ($US 233)

    Shit is so cheap nowadays


    And it has one of those bendy LED screens, which I love, last time I brought a glass one, It cracked within a week

    So I'm watching The Walking Dead on this thing, 1080p, no lag, looks awesome, and I'm thinking, man this only cost me 320n bucks

    Long gone are the days something like this would have cost 10 times as much

    Lol, didnt notice that, no thats just a pic i pulled off some website

    Sheila seems to have gotten a message from regina about picking up the kids on Thursday, maybe sheila and regina are wesbians and they pronounce her name reg-gyna so it rhymes with something they both love

    meh, reminds me of when netbooks were the thing in 2009...i bought one for $300...it was cool, got over it fast...

    Oh, nice, and it comes in 4 colors. I bought a much more pricey hp model last year and it's slowly shitting the bed. After less than a year. At the price that you bought yours, VG, it wouldn't be much a risk at all. Will have to look into it.

    Had a HP mini a while back, that was cheap for its day and lasted a couple years, heavy usage...but was black and boring

    This one is so pretty, is cool

    Im such a HP fanboy now

    Around the 10/11 inch size, there werent many choices anyway, only 3 brands, only 2 of which had the non breakable flexi LED screen thingys

    Still $300 for a netbook, dont really expect it to last more than 2 years, every time i buy a more expensive one i end up breaking it within those two years anyway

    Most stuff I just do on my phone, the netbook is for outdoorsy times when i need to type/program stuff.

    HP was really the only option at that price range with all the things i needed

    Before you do that, let it upgrade to Win 10, it's free and it'll make that laptop even faster!
    No other OS will be as quick or as useful, I bet.

    One reason those netbook types are now fast is because they have faster wireless networking.

    Biggest drawback is only 2gb ram usually, which sucks for any intensive programs, though you can run the vast majority.
    You can now get similar machines with 4GB if you look hard, but they will be a bit pricer. Also nice to get 64GB (or more) of internal storage rather than 32.
    There's a whole new chipset out now for those kind of machines, so the old ones should be clearing out in the next few months, look for bargains as low as $100 around Xmas.

    Otherwise, they can be a good deal. There are other brands like ASUS and ACER that are often better quality.
