it has been there for I think 5 years. It sits on my living room table. Over the years many people have stopped by the house and very few have even picked it up. I had a house mate at one point get really excited cause he almost had 2 sides done...almost.. they will look at it and think to themselves if they want to pick it up and attempt it. very, very few do. I don't like to have a house full of stuff. If I have to get up and move, I can get everything out of the house no problem. I live like this cause its simple and less stressful. Id rather save money than save a bunch of useless garbage like a hoarder. but I still have this rubik cube.. their are videos on youtube to solve this fucker, but I refuse to look at those. It's as if this little bastard is some ultimate goal filled with some nice colors. Ive never known anyone that has completed this little box filled with human frustration. if I complete this fucking thing, I might build some special frame to post it on the wall.. until then.... there it sits.. shit
My dad could do those in record time always..... I have no patience for puzzles. Good luck....with that.
I solved a Rubik's cube once, then immediately disassembled it to see if I could do it again and never did it again.
i remember solving the rubix along with the pacman win patterns. but ive forgotten over the years.... I do have a generic rubix in the china cabinet dont really bother with it.
i've only ever tried it once. i got one side done, which seemed to impress everyone there, but really you have to completely destroy that side to do the other 5 sides anyway, so i'm pretty sure getting one side done is completely meaningless.
Even if I complete it and frame it on my wall. People will look at it say... why did you frame it. well.........
i don't have a rubic's cube. i don't remember if i ever had one. i'm pretty sure i don't ever remember wanting one. i dream up things, and sometimes i make models of them, sometimes in the computer and sometimes in real life. i don't like leaving things behind, because everything is something i can use to make something else. its annoying for something i once had and used to not be there when i need it. that mentioned, i have, i think at least four or five times in my life, simply walked away from everything i couldn't carry on my back. i have a computer in my bug out bag, that has enough tools and toys on its hard drive to keep me amused if i ever do again need to do that. no. i don't have a rubics cube. i have a bunch of little tools and train stuff and computers. but then i don't have a living room. i have a one room and bath, and a very micro kitchenette area. a too big bed that takes up too much of it, and a too big tv that doesn't work anyway that also takes up too much of it. they came with the place. i will probably move again at least once before i die. this is not certain but probable. this is not the place i was living with the furrys for almost 3 years up until a couple of months ago. for now i have all my current stuff. not sure how much i'll be able to move when i do. now if i had a living room and it was my own, it would be a model railroad layout. but there'd still be plenty of chairs and tables and shelves if you wanted to come over. no tv, and no mind altering substances, sorry. no nintendo nor weeeeeeee. lots of books though. might be a lava lamp or two. some of my own paintings on the walls. and trains, and, if i owned the place, a garden and cats.
had one as a christmas present when i was a kid..when they were the fad of the time didnt take me long to learn how to disassemble it and put it back together my mind is more mechanical and always needs to see how things are put together and taken apart rather than solved
I remember having one and I remember finally throwing it away. I was not defeated by this thing, much.
just watched Penn & Teller Fool Us, season 2, episode 1 and there was a guy who did amazing stuff with a rubicks cube. this guy; https://youtu.be/rWfWI9mQAb0
