Today was the first day since I've been back to college that someone noticed that I wasn't wearing shoes. I was waiting at the elevator and this tall African American kid came up and pretty soon he says "You aren't wearing any shoes!" I smile and said, "wow, you're good!" and patted him on the back. I never heard anyone laugh so hard at that joke. Then he asked a zillion questions about it. Kinda made me feel good that I opened a mind today... Yay for barefooters!
You know I just read recently that being barefoot and coming in contact more often then not connects us more to our Mother Earth and all of her divine energy. *I really like that* So I just posted a pic of my feet, share yours too
I think this is definitely true... I've felt more at one with the Mother and what she has to offer the world... It's put me in an entirely different mindset. A beautiful happy one
no bare feet for me, too much stabby dangerous crap on the ground, usually tiny shards that feel like fibreglass
I saw a vegan friend of mine who studied abroad in Costa Rica over the summer...he had on a pair of hemp braided sandals, I said "Great sandals where did you get them?" "OH I got them from a cat in Costa Rica." He looks down at my barefeet, "You have great shoes too...did god give 'em to you?" The best thing I've heard yet... I'm wearing the shoes God gave me *grins*
so... don't walk on stabby crap. If you barefoot enough you learn to avoid that stuff without thinking about it much.
Haha; teachers always tell me to put shoes on. So, I put them on, walk out of sight, and take them back off.
