I see your point. But you can be happy whatever choice you make in life. That is all happiness is, a conscious choice.

You can be a successful graphic designer without a green card. Again the goal can take many paths. You will find your way.

I feel for you as far as the green card. Bureaucracy is a bitch, especially in the USA.

But regardless I know you will succeed. Do not give up.:)

I sort of achieved my original goals pretty early. i wanted to be in a band and an archaeologist, and both happened right out of college.

Then I realized archaeology wasn't a very pleasant or decently paying job, even though i enjoyed some moments....

i still play in a band, but other than seeing what can happen with that I have no real goals...maybe to have a kid one day I guess

    thanks :)

I mean the Green Card would help with working in the U.S ;) And working in the U.S, well, New York.. that's.. not a goal but a dream. But I don't wanna build my life around it and think about too much NOW. And.. I may change my mind later on anyway who knows. I wanna enjoy the now as much as possible and really not let what could or could not happen later on.. pull me back.. or affect me too much emotionally (or litterally destroy my emotional balance as it did years ago hehe!! serious)

    That is a great goal!

I do volunteer work for Special Olympics when I am in the USA. It is amazing at what people are truly capable of achieving.

    Music is a real talent.

Want to make real money in archeology? Try treasure hunting! I speak from experience.

that does sound intruiging, feel free to PM me some experiences or make a post in my forum linked at the bottom of my posts.

I left archaeology about 10 years ago, but I still find it interesting and I was pretty good at it

For now, Im pretty good on goals.
Im focusing on getting a car right now (road test tomorrow, wish me luck ;)), and saving the dolla dolla bills to get out to British-Colombia for living and school in the future.
In a year or two I want to take the four year nursing course at Selkirk College, and then University of Victoria. For now, Im focusing on getting my first aid and CPR with St. John's Ambulance, and applying to volunteer at the hospital. OH YA - and Im gonna take yoga classes for a year (I practiced yoga before, bu tnot classes), and then sign up to get trained as a teacher next January. Im gonna teach that, while I do th enursing school. yah.
