Absolutely brilliant, devastating retorts. I don't know if I can go on...... Anyway, I rest my case - the Mental Health forum is missing their idiots.
This forum has become an infantile playground for stupid boys, trolls and smart-ass comments filled with Googled 'long-words', GROW UP!..............
First time barefoot today in winter ... 3°C/37°F, light rain. Will do it again. Next week perhaps I'll try in snow ...
I love the feeling but I can only handle it for a moment. My girlfriend walks around barefoot in the Winter like it's nothing, it's a sight to behold.
I've gone barefoot in the snow a few times, but can only last a few minutes before the cold gets to me. The other problem I found with being barefoot in the snow was the lack of traction. The first time I tried it I almost ended up on my ass when I slipped!
Just the other day, I walked out to my shop nude (that means barefoot too) and the ground actually felt good. Then I walked in on the cold concrete floor.... holy cow! It was like standing on a block of ice. I couldn't stand in there too long, so I went back outside. Then, I walked around back & walked in the remaining snow on the lawn. I was surprised that it didn't really feel bad. The concrete floor was by far harder to be barefoot on.
Yeah, especially if it's wet and around freezing temps. But I have no shoes anymore, so I had to deal with it. Wasn't too bad, cause I wasn't out for hours. Looking forward to summer, though.
