And yet... we're the dumbasses. Hmm... yeah man, thats pretty intelligent. First off, THC needs to be heated to become active, and thus to produce a high. Sooo.... snorting it WILL NOT WORK. Will it get into your bloodstream? Yes, of course. Will it get you high? Definitely not.

And also.... if you're gonna try a new method of getting high (which is entirely pointless and waste of kief in the first place) maybe you should NOT GET HIGH before and after you do it? This little experiment was retarded from the get-go, just let it die before people tear into you even more.

if you wanted to know wether snorting kief works or not, you should have at least not smoked both times after snorting, to see if it has any effects on its own, dumbass.

I smoked encase I did not get high form the snorting. I know how high I get from smoking a certain ammount, so no it actually wasn't pointless. It was easy to tell whether or not I was higher than ussual, and I was.

I have snorted ground up weed. It was weed that I used in the vaporizer, so the weed was already dead. But yea, I did get a pretty nice buzz from it somehow. I wouldn't do it too often because it will probly tear up your nostrila or something bad like that.

Why would I try to smoke weed? Hmmm lets see here.... Maybe because it is a tested, and theoretically and physically proven method to get people high, maybe because I'm 100% guaranteed to get high. Maybe because when the buds get heated, the THC is released in the forum of smoke (or vapor if you've got a vape) and when you cook, the HEAT releases THC into a fatty substance. Thats why. Because it WORKS. And science can back me up on that.

Now, show me something that says snorting kief will get you high. Let me see the course of action the snorted kief takes on your body to produce a high. Like I said, no heat, no active THC. Thats all there is to it. So NO, you didn't get high from the kief, and you're just making yourself look even more foolish trying to claim you did.

And how much do you know about conducting experiments? To be honest, I don't know shit about it really, but I do know that when you TEST something, you do not ingest something else that will affect the test. So, what happened in your case, you got high from smoking it, and you had some placebo going on, and your mind tricked you into thinking you got higher from snorting kief. But you didnt.

And your body heat is not nearly enough to induce decarboxylation, if thats what you're trying to tell me your logic was. Listen up, because this is where I'm gonna tell you why its impossible for you to have gotten high. In marijuana buds, THC is actually in the form of THCA (tetrahydrocannabolic acid). The THCA breaks down extremely rapidly through the process of decarboxylation, which takes place when heat is applied. The end result of this process is the THCA being converted into THC, a product that WILL produce a high. This process happens immediately when heat is applied (via vape, smoke, or cooking), and by the time you inhale that hit or eat that brownie, the THCA is in the form of THC- producing the effects we all know and love. Let me repeat: IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HIGH FROM SNORTING KIEF/GROUND UP MARIJUANA. So either, we have some liars on here, or victims of the placebo effect. Either way, you didnt get high.

how bout you eat some hash or kief straight...without heating it. Then tell me how wrong he is huh? Heating during smoking does not "activate" thc, it vaporises it and releases it from the plant. If you ate enough straight bud, you would get high. Cooking, with oil is another way to release thc from the plant matter. Also, you can make marijuana tinctures such as green dragon that require NO HEAT. Sorry you're wrong

I have a friend who smokes pot through his nose (then makes the smoke come out his eyes). He says it gets him higher, but he's not the brightest either.

 

Ok everybody, calm down. How about everybody learns some chemistry. First off THC doesn't need to be heated to be "activated" whatever the hell that means. You heat it when you bake it to vape it out of the grass and bind it to lipids, you have to vape it in plant form because your body can not digest cellulose and the THC is in the cellulose. Have you ever tried eating raw hash, it most certainly works. Second pure THC can be absorbed across mucous membranes.

I used to be extremely skeptical about snorting keif and still won 't do it, but yes it is fact that it will get you high. Not only that but its not that uncommon of one, it's called eating weed and its basically the same thing IF YOU THINK about it, you know?
Besides, I've seen people do it, usually feinds though, or I guess just people that like to snort shit...
