Snake

    I almost stepped on this snake. It turned and tried to bite me... thank God for my cat like reflexes! I was wondering if any could tell me what type of snake this is? I know the pics aren't great...

    Can't really tell with those pictures man, you need to get closer.

    No way I was getting closer. It took all the nerve I had to get that close.

    You say it tried to bite you? A coach whip is non-venomous, so I think you were safe. The worst it could have done was give you a nasty cut. They're quite skittish and will tend to either attack and run, or just outright bolt out of there. That's strange that it tried to attack you.
