smoking weed w/ my hookah

I've put weed in a hookah at a bunch of levels of complexity (based on levels of laziness) and I think we got the best result from putting shisha at the bottom of the bowl and mixing a little over a gram of bud into shisha in the top half. We got an even, slow burn of the bud (unlike when we just sprinkled it on top) and we were pretty confident all the weed got burned and we didn't waste any. Like startreken said, a coal might not be hot enough to burn all the weed.
On the other hand, I've been using a vape lately so it occurs to me that even in it doesn't burn and char the weed near the bottom, it might still get hot enough to release its precious chemicals.

 

I own a one hose hookah and have smoked weed out of it twice, I packed nearly the whole bowl full. If you're going to smoke reefer out of your hookah I recommend getting a screen for it (I didn't have a screen, and used foil as a screen which sucked), this way you can pack as much as you want.

 

take the bowl out and find a trumpet mouthpiece.

replace the bowl with the mouthpiece and use a lighter.

hits real hard and use the second hose as a carb

 

I've done the same method as you and have only ever used charcoal. The hookah after all is basically a primitive vaporizer with water filtration. Oh and with this method I definitely get really really baked

 

At some point this summer I am going to pack the entire bowl with weed and try it that way. I have only done the blend before.

 

I can't fathom why people like hookahs. I bought one like a fool and tried smoking some weed in it once and I've decided they suck. Why not just pipe it up or use a bong or something more practical?

 

ill tell you why hookahs are sick... they are perfect for laying on the couch with like 6 people spread throughout the room, philosophizing. everyone gets a tube or at most everyone just has to pass to one other person. you never have to light it after the first time, you get a slow, even burn, it smells and tastes wonderful. when you are sharing a joint theres always time lost passing it, people drop shit, ashes on the floor... i love joints but for some situations, hookahs are the fuckin bomb.

and dont load your hookah with all weed. thats just wasting. use like mostly shisha and then some hash and weed mixed together on top. thats the key to using the hookah properly!!

LOL, Funny. Yeah, well, I think I am about to get a really good score when it come to weed in a month or so. I figure if I can get a QP that I can waste a little and just go ahead and pack the whole bowl with weed, just once. I figured it will be me and a few other guys and we are going to smoke that shit stupid.

basically I broke up some bud, took enough of that sticky flavored tobacco to just hold the weed together i would say 35% tobacco 65% weed mix it up and toke away. When i did this i got smashhhed as hell, seriously. I hate inhaling tobacco smoke though...def not good for the lungs. But it worked pretty well, and it taste very good due to the fruity sticky tobacco...

Nice to expirement with but def not something i feel like doing often.

 

If your smoking headies, I would suggest taking the bowl off of a metal pipe, and replacing it with the hookah bowl, it hits quite well, and cornering is still optional.

 

Well, I've smoked a whole bowl of weed from a hookah (I believe it took over an 8th) without mixing shisha, and well, it ripped balls. We got real high.

But as far as mixing goes, I wouldn't think it would taste too bad, and I'm about 90% sure it would work fine

But if you want to mix the two, at a headshop near me they sell double bowls, like it tee's off into two separate ones. This may be a good option for you

 

Personally smoking weed out of a hookah is a pain in the ass. It takes to long for me to get the hookah to smoke right. I prefer blunts, but that is just my opinion.

Isn't weed a traditional hookah ingredient? Isn't hashish hash + shish? I think mixing hash or kif into your shisha is a traditional way of smoking hookah. I have mixed green with shisha...
If you are going to combine, mix the weed into the shisha, then it will burn as the shisha burns. If you sprinkle it on top the weed will burn at once leaving a bowl full of shish.

 

I haven't tried,to smoke weed with a hookah only with bong and a vaporizor. And i like the vaporization option the most. You should give it a try,i have top vapor 110 its pretty cool,now i will try vaporizing salvia with it,will post the results
