Smoking the stuff and your parents

I used to keep it clean and hide it very well for a few years but once my junior year of high school came i didnt really care anymore and just told them straight up that I smoke pot and i wasnt going to stop. I mean they pretty much knew but they didnt have hard evidence cause I had good stash spots only thing was the nice smell on my clothing after an afterschool hotbox. Didnt get too mad seeing as my older sister was a frequent user and pill enthusiast. I went way over my sisters usage though but its all good at least im still doing some productive things

 

well i was quite an early bird.. was like 15 or 16, exactly the age i wouldn't want to find out that my children are using some stuff. she was really angry and dramatic but since i was an a student at school she kinda managed to cool down rather quick..
i have smoked with my mom once though. was extremely funny to see her behavior

 

i got cuaght(from like 11-17) and still get ua's so i can keep living in my parents house while im in college but i dont do it anymore so i dont care

 

My parents know that I have and know my stance on it, so they don't say anything. I remember admitting that I had before when they caught my step-brother with a joint when we were in middle school... My parents and I have always been very straight forward with each other about everything. And they know that I'm going to do what I want regardless of what they say. I don't think they have anything against is though, other than the legal aspects, and I only smoke maybe once or twice a year if that. I can never see myself going out and buying weed, but its something I'll do if a friend offers and I don't have to work or anything.

I didn't smoke in high school and I started during the summer before college. On a family camping trip the next summer we were all out hiking and my parents are slow hikers so my sister and I charged on ahead, found a spot with good visibility down the trail and I fired up a J. When they finally caught up to us I made the mistake of getting too close to my dad and basically breathing the sweet sweet stank right in his face. He asked if I had been smoking, I said yes and he didn't say anything else until my mom went off to fertilize the woods, then he turns to my sister and says "I thought you quit smoking." She answers with the classic line: "Yea I don't smoke... cigarettes." A year later the pops is asking me for a sack... I grew up such an innocent little boy, I didn't even realize why they referred to their old VW as a Magic Bus. heheh

 

my mom doesn't care,she just tells me to do it outside.

 

Funny how a lot of parents smoke with their kids...or ask them for weed or buy from them or supply it for them...

 

Yeah, I thought it was strange until I started hanging out with this one friend, who often smokes with her Mom. I was over at their house once when they were both high, it was really weird at first.
So I started wondering how common it is...and apparently, very!
Psh, my mom would freak out.

I mean, if the kid is an adult, (and by 'kid' I mean son or daughter)
that is one thing.... But I'm talking about, like,
"Hey 15 year old daughter, you and your friend want some weed?'

 

I don't.. and mom knows I don't.
Though, my mom is notorious for the "there are some things I don't want to know~look away~" , she can probably guess I have tried, if i never told her(i probably did- idr it being a big deal- though she is pretty clean and wouldn't , green doesn't bother her) , and I am pretty sure she knows that hubby does/has.

MIL is a completely different story, and drives hubby crazy constantly thinking he is her drug dealer even when he isn't smoking himself

My parents stopped smoking when they decided to have me, I started when I was 17, they knew strait away, i knew they knew but they didn't say anything, just the occasional stoner joke and left it at that.

 

i don't smoke weed.i thought that was the subject.

I do smoke pipe tobacco cigars- they DO know I smoke that, and have snce before i started(they assumed I was smoking as a teen long before I was LOL).
I do not usually around my parents. I can count on one hand the number of times I have in front of my father, never in front of my mom. I am weird about that.

 

My mom and dad raided my room while out at school one day when i was about 15... they found my stash. They actually drove 40 minutes to go take me out of school, they wouldn't tell me why they took me out until we got him and the entire car ride my mom and dad where crying like iv never seen anyone cry... Like someone just died, I started thinking my little sister was dead cause of the way they where acting.

Got home and they asked me, I tried to cover it up but they knew.. finally just told them that i was.. Lost their trust for 2 years and was cut off from all my friends.


Started smoking again about a year and a half ago. The night before 4/20 my mom asks me if I was smoking again, and I was completely straight with her.. didnt want to lie and loose her trust again.. I even tried to talk to her about it, like what she thinks of it is not true, she wouldnt listen. She thought I was "listening to the lies of the devil" At this point she started to threatening me with drug tests and cut off my school funding. My dad took it a LOT better, almost seemed to not care.

Long story short my mom is VERY against it, and alcohol. She thinks its something of pure evil. I wonder how shes gunna react when I can legally drink in a year.

My mom doesn't know, but I haven't seen her or heard from her in what seems to be ages.

My dad kind of always just knew. Nobody never really needed to tell him. He was a big redneck/hippie back in his day, so he just knew I was a pothead...It's obvious I'm a hippie, even to my dad. I've smoked with him on the rare occasion, only twice, and he's smelled it and seen it never with any question, concern, or apparent reaction about it.

 

I don't think my mom or the PO knew half of the drugs I tried to write a book talking about. I took LSD before I ever got stoned, it turned out to have to much vision in the future. She freaked out over my sister taking three bong rips and that she wouldn't let me drink booze. I already had a sip from the old man, she's an abusive whore and I don't know how to mind that girl.

I love drugs more than my mom any day, I really should of taken Paxil when dad left the AKS and all that damn ammo for every kid at school (or that sharp point for when I was being thrifty). My dad is bad ass but didn't like me, he was jealous very early with me and females.

 

my parents and I are pretty subtle, we found out any straight conversation ends up in a screaming fest... even if we agree, so Im sure they know I do and thats that, just like my drinking they just make subtle remarks to let me know they are on to me but have no evidence, well drinking evidence they do have but they arent that bothered I dont give them evidence that often.. . oh and they usually drop the remark "dont do anything stupid" with a lot more meaning behind it, every week at least
