Yeah, this is the worst drug outside of crack I can think of. I've never done it personally but it's affected me anyway. I had a good friend end up killing himself on a railroad track for reasons directly related to this drug. He lost job after job, and ended up basically unemployable because it was a small town, and everyone knew what he was into, so no one would hire him. That led to a downward spiral he just couldn't get out of. Shit, I have lots of meth horror stories. About 10 years ago some people in a house at the end of the block where I lived were cooking meth and it started a fire and burned the house down. They all got out except for a 1 year-old baby in a back bedroom who burned to death. Not long after that a guy I went to school with was cooking meth and was burned over half his body in an explosion. You'd think that would have been enough, but after he healed from the burns he went right back to it. One night he went into a rage and was attacking his wife and she blasted him in the chest with a 12 guage and killed him. Literally every person I know who's become involved with meth has either died or ended up in jail. The county I lived in had to spend $15 million for a new jail because they ran out of room and were having to house inmates in other jails, and now the new jail is almost overcrowded, with about 70% of the prisoners in for meth.
someone i knew was using meth and due to my addiction to substances i wanted to try some. i used it first at a young age, 19. they shot me up first time and i was hooked ever since. went on a binge. longest consecutive use was 2 weeks straight, all day, everyday. i remember not sleeping or eating anything for 2 week, i was practically a skeleton. water consumption was less than normal but i went through drug psychosis, due to the effects as well as sleep deprivation. heavy audible and visual hallucinations occured. seriously crazy experience. it forced me into rehab shortly after. did 2 years, and was 5 years clean.
