Smoking and mono

maybe we dont have problems with that disease over here, ive never heard of it, and spreadable diseases are tought all over the place, mono not being one thats warned against

why the fuck did they give you antibiotics? i hope you throw them away because mono is caused by a VIRUS and antiBIOTICS don't work with VIRUSES - damn western doctors.... bah.

as far as smoking pot, DO IT. enjoy it while you have mono. i smoked hash every day while i was sick with mono in Spain. i just played guitar out on my balcony stoned and sick all the time it was great (minus the horrors of mono symptoms...).

the only precaution about smoking with mono is that it will not alleviate a sore throat. furthermore, smoking marijuana decreases your kidney energy. the kidney is a paired organ with the liver and functions to support your immune system. Thus smoking pot may delay your recovery a tiny bit. but i say if you're gonna feel shitty for a couple months, at least be high the whole time - it makes mono a lot better. oh yeah, and pot will raise your temperature so don't smoke if you have a high fever!

mononucleosis is an illness caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. it can come in different flavors, but the most common is this Espstein-bar. this virus is in the Herpes family - it's a nasty one. once infected, you have it for life. an estimated 80% of college students get it at some point in their young (college) lives.

you have it down there in the underground, trust me. it's worldwide. i got it in barcelona spain.
