I agree joints make more of a smell mess then a bowl dose. I think you will get busted. don't do it

shower smoking tends to leave a lingering smell for much longer than in a dry enviroment.

my bathroom smelt awsomely funky for like 3 days. (bu it dont have any ventilation)

 

I used to do it all the time if you have a bowl, and actually try to be discreet you can still manage.
