I also used to be one of those people who said she would never smoke . . . well, I cracked a long time ago.

I know it's bad for you. I know it kills people. That's why I'm not at all a heavy smoker. I don't want to smoke a pack a day, but every few months or so, I just really need a cigarette. I can't explain it why it seems appealing to do so. I don't know if it relaxes me or what, but it's just nice.

But if it was a habit, it would be gross. Does that make sense? Everything needs moderation.

I have this one friend that says, "I'm glad that smoking kills, because people who smoke should die. It's just so gross and they shouldn't be around." I'm not even going to begin to say what's wrong about that, it's too obvious.

Nice idea but smoking has been around for a lot longer than the practice of using radon as fertilizer. For instance lets go back to the colonization of America shall we?

I guess another thing would be this:
This is the "Young Hippies" part of the "Hippies" thread. So, I would assume most people here are hippies. What are hippies stereotypically known for? Caring for the enviorment, living healthy, and pot...That is what it is in the mainstream. And yet look how many "hippies" smoke ciggs? It is horrible for the fucking enviorment, first of all tobacco farms ruin land and lots of farmers use radon to fertalize which by the way is radioactive. Not even to mention the ciggarete buts which I am sure you all leave on the ground. Then as well smoke just is not good for the air.
Living healthy? Smoking is usually the first thing a doctor will tell you to stop in order to improve your health. Hippies eat organic and smoke shit that kills them, nice.

Plus it kills us left-wingers off. That just dosen't do the world good anyways. And the people who own the tobbacco companys who make the ciggeretes are the people we are fighting against.
