I did much in the garden tonight....the fantasy garden ....buddy polished and sharpened my machete which had 20 yeaars of rust.....took the machete to the edges of the garden to make it bigger....thing is like a razor


molo you have 3 sisters?.....I love you too babe ...thoughts are with you about your pops ....6 months is a hard pill to swallow...with both my parents I had no advanced notice...both stroked and passed not long after....

we will all be here for you....6 months os a wee-ish before Christmas so lets hope he has an upturn and gets to be here awhile longer

 

and now the days get shorter...

until dec 22...which is what i feel is the most depressing day each year

3 sisters is corn, beans, squash. Corn provides trellis for beans, beans bring nitrogen from air and make it available in soil to feed corn and squash, squash helps to form border and deter rabbits and coons.
I only have fleshy brothers, no sisters. Pity really, if I had sisters there would be no stopping us. But nope. 3 half brothers, one step brother, no full blood siblings. Which is part of why I have felt unnecessary since I was 5. Mom would have met dad. Father would have met step mom. I'm just an extra. I've come to grips with it, still shitty. Still part of that shitton of baggage that makes up who I am.

10 inches means we shovel the stairs a bit but the driveway is optional...unless were getting another 10 in a few hours

 

I did not know it snowed in Australia. It makes sense though with the mountains. I guess that explains this stellar athletic performance. You are right up with the Norwegians as far as winter Olympic dominance.

About the snow in Australia:

Where we lived in aus and most my family still do is in a town about 2hrs drive away from the snow but the city we lived in was low and in valley of the mountain so it never snowed, maybe once a year burbit got to sub freezing temps with the frosts and then the wind coming off the mountains through the valley into the city was icy cold in winter. Reminds me autumn here and a late autumn in Denver. Think freezing nights but warm days.

As for the snow it is not fluffy and powder like you'd know it, it's hard and icy lol. Stings you. And only a very small perctange of the snowy mountains get some snow, really only one specific place.

Glen probably get a snow day or two in his mountains.

 

We sold our last concert ticket lol. I sold for 10EU less just to be nice. well, to get rid of it. =p

 

For quite a while, until just now I thought she was accually racing in a real car or truck on some short track in Germany.
The way she described it in such detail, I could envision the dirt around her eyes and face as she took off her helmet and goggles. NtM the winning fist pumps in the air sitting half way out of driver side window.

Sometimes I wonder how I passed high school. Or is it graduated.

Someday I hope we can get to visit Australia. Both of my wife's opals came from Lightning Ridge. Not that we'd be able to walk around in the dusty caverns with hard hats and flashlights spelunking.
