Slowdive is so fucking good. I have been on a major Slowdive binge this past week, listening to all their albums and EPs. For those living in a musical cave (haha), Slowdive was one of the pioneering shoegaze bands of the early 90s to come out of the UK, along with such names as My Bloody Valentine (who are actually from Ireland and not the UK) and Ride. They released three albums and a handful of EPs from the years 1990 to 1995. These guys created some very dreamy pop music, which is the very essence of the dream pop genre. Their music is really steeped in a beautiful atmosphere, which just happens to be very conducive to some good marijuana and a reflective mind. If you haven't ever checked out Slowdive, then give a listen to the songs I posted below.
