sleeping naked

Once you make a habit of it, it's difficult to impossible to sleep with anything on. Sheets and blankets make up for cold rooms.

 

I love sleeping naked.. I only do it here and there but my husband immediately thinks he's getting some if I do lol

I see you're using it as a signal, that's cool. Once you fall victim to the luxury of always sleeping naked then it won't work for that anymore and you'll have to come up with a new plan for signaling he get some.

 

I don't do it enough to make it a habit.. so I think the mixed signals will continue lol

 

My wife used to scold me when I tried to slip into bed naked ... but now she raises her eyebrows when I don’t.

Can be a long road to having your significant other accept your naturist/nudist leanings, but it’s a trip worth taking. Was just talking today about a nudist event I skipped out on last fall despite my bride’s encouragement to go through with it. As the saying goes, the things you most regret are the things you DON’T do. Lesson learned.

 

Same with my wife! When we first met and I slept naked from the first sleepover, she thought it was so strange and weird, etc. I told her I had been sleeping naked since I was 12 and I wasn't about to change.

Fast forward to today, and she asks what is wrong if I am NOT sleeping naked, even when sharing hotel rooms or cabins with her friends and family!

 

When we met, my wife and I were happy to find that we both sleep nude! So that's never been a conflict for us.

 

I used to sleep in my undies but ever since the quarantine I haven't left the house and been completely naked (till today when I went back to work) so that includes sleeping naked. Lol

 

Interesting stories of y'all getting started. I don't remember when I started sleeping naked, it's been too long.

Home or away, I’ve sleep nude every night since I was in my teens. It would seem strange to me sleeping any other way.

My wife has also always sleep that way from long before I met her and my previous two partners were generally nude sleepers too.

I recall them shopping for some kind of nightie specially for hospital stays. I’ve never stayed in hospital since childhood so that had never been an issue for me.

The only exception was the woman I was with before my wife took to wearing a short silk nightshirt as her son got older so as not embarrass him. It didn’t feel like a barrier between us because it was only very loosely buttoned and tended to ride up in bed. Until he reached puberty, she was often naked in front of him.

The same with my wife and our now grown up boys. However, she hasn’t change her nude sleeping habit for their sake no mater how old they are.

It’s probably good they see that she’s not self conscious about being naked. I guess it’ll not seem unusual to them because we’ve slept that way all of her lives.

I often wonder if mothers covering up as sons get older actually has more to do with their ageing bodies not comparing well to young girlfriends than causing embarrassment.

I remember being shocked as a child that my grandmother exposed her naked body to my Dad when has was in his thirties to show him how much weight she’d lost due to cancer. My Mum never slept nude, so I thought women were never naked.

 

I have always slept naked, now we have warmer no nights I can't even use a sheet.

 

Naked is the only way to sleep.

 

I do in summer, feels great letting the air flow round you fully

 

It is healthier too.
