Slayers new album came out on september 11 Happy September 11 everybody BTW There are all these glowing reviews online, probably mostly becuase Jeff Hanemans death is still a bit raw and everyones filled with faux hope But album is shit Paul Bostoph back on drums, drums are the only thing that sound good Arayas voice sounds struggled, they switched to budget record company, so production sounds me And no real melodies, all the songs are the same old intro-gallop-lead-gallop-bridge-gallop-wah formula of the last couple records Yep, Slayer died with Hanneman
Very poor album. I have no clue why they would sign with Nuclear Blast. The majority of their artists play in front of a few hundred people at most (given it's a weekend and in a city of 1,000,000 plus). May as well have self released it.
I think most artists dont make money of albums anymore Not that it matters in this case, shit album, Slayer is dead
