I am looking for a service like Skype, only better. Paid is okay. I need something that does not lag or crash, and is very secure in terms of confidentiality. Does anyone have any programs they would recommend?
I use LINE, mainly cos.I like the little cartoon stickers Why confidentialty? Hubby not being attentive? Send him to Sydney, my friends and I will take care of him
My husband asked me to help him find a program that will allow him to see clients virtually. There are a few clients who live 1.5 hours away and it is not feasible for them to drive that long for an hour long appointment. As the business is expanding, it would be good to have an alternative option available for clients who live out of town. I thought it would be a better use of time to ask people here if they had any program recommendations, as opposed to doing internet research and reading reviews from people I do not know or do not trust. Thanks for your help, those of you who answered seriously.
no form, of unincrypted communication technology, is secure in terms of confidentiality. simple fact of life. children and the mentally challenged frequently make the mistake of expecting that they are. the only communication secure in terms of confidentiality, is face to face, in a soundproof room, that has been thoroughly scanned for listening devices and from which all have been removed. the best way to avoid scrutiny is to avoid attracting attention. governments, of course, are inclined to refuse to permit, any form of encryption then cannot themselves break. this has been a big source of dispute between governments and banks, who have so far otherwise, been able to usurp consent of the governed. and who rely on secure transfer of financial data, which to the fullest extent they are able, has replaced the transfer of actual currency. now as for direct online communication, well i've found myself not terribly fond of it, so i can't judge between available protocalls, i have heard there exists some sort of newer better skype, called telegram. i have no personal idea if its any good at all actually, i've just heard people who might be knowledgable in such things praising it. their principal use of it however, has not been in persuit of secure communication, so i really can't say, beyond what i hope was already obvious which i have stated. driving, is of course, not the only means of physical transportation. nor even in many instances, the most affordable.
I too am looking for ways to preach the message of Allah and arrange shipments of "goods" without pesky government agencies overhearing me.
The difficult part of conferencing this way is Lag. When considering a program research your speeds and also the resources needed for the programs. It would not hurt to also know when the peaks in your speeds are by checking them at different times of the day and scheduling around when you have peak service.
I have never used it so I have no clue of the quality of it, but my friend recommended WhatsApp to me, he uses it to talk to people in a different country, so I figure it must be decent.
