I guess this is what you call a SIM card cloner, it will also edit the contents of the SIM card even the protected areas...it belongs to a friend of a friend but he doesn't know where to find the driver for it anymore and can't even tell what the make and model # of it is. All there is is 2 small integrated circuit chips on the back, I think one is probably ROM and the other is the USB interface controller plus 2 crystal oscillators I guess for the clock signals for the ICs Thing is he said it never worked right in windows without returning an error and would only work in Linux when ran using WINE! the only thing I can think of is that it doesn't run properly with the new windows kernels and needs an old version of windows like XP or 98SE where could they get the drivers (better ones hopefully) or should I advise them to just buy a whole new thing cuz it's been a while since I've heard about something like this. He says he has another one that looks different somewhere but can't find that one but that it used the same driver and tools and it did the same thing He uses in with his own SIM cards (the prepaid ones) and as far as I know this is perfectly legal LOL
