sickness and healing

can being sick affect the healing process of a tattoo?

cause I am super sick right now. and I got a tattoo about a week ago. and it is definitely not healing as well as the other one did. it keeps getting really dried out and scabbing, but then when the scabs come off new ones reform.

and it hurts like hell.

and yeah, I'm caring for it properly. washing it 3-4 times a day, using unscented lotion or A&D on it 3-4 times a day.

is there anything I can do?

 

Yr washing it WAY too much.

Just leave the fucker alone, lotion it when it gets scaly.
