After eating seasoned food and even after brushing your teeth, eating shredded wheat later brings out some of the season taste once again. It's like a wash cloth on your teeth.
Very interesting observation. I tend to like my shredded wheat to be frosted, so I'm sure it won't help me much.
Virgin coconut oil can be a good softener for the hair and skin. The cheap coconut oil usually doesn't work well.
Yes, most people don't realize that coconut oil actually kills the bacteria that causes tooth decay and has antiviral and antimicrobial properties. I am a HUGE coconut oil fan. I eat the stuff raw, just in case I haven't mentioned that a million times already.
It's the only oil I use for cooking and baking. It has so many health properties, and I hate seeing people frying with olive oil. Yeah, it's good for you cold, but SO bad for you if you heat it!
You can always order it online. I get mine from Swanson -- a huge 54 oz. container for just $20. It's the best value I could find for a high-quality, organic, extra-virgin coconut oil. http://www.swansonvitamins.com/swan...in-coconut-oil-54-oz-1-53-kilograms-solid-oil
When oils are heated, they produce all sorts of harmful byproducts which are very unhealthy. Coconut oil is the safest oil to cook with, because it remains stable when heated, unlike most of the other oils commonly used for cooking.
I know you probably don't care, but half of Borneo's wilderness, amongst other places, is being cut down for your precious coconut oil. A lot of wildlife has been killed, its natural habitat demolished by mostly Chinese businessmen who plant acre after acre after acre of palm plantations in what was once one of the worlds most amazing jungle with one of the biggest diversity of plant and animal life. However good coconut oil may be for your skin or teeth or whatever, after seeing with my own eyes what damage it does I will never use it.
My coconut oil comes from independent farmers in Papua New Guinea who contribute toward sustaining the eco system there.
