Shpongle

Yah I have really high expectations as well, I expect it to be a little more of a chill set list than when I saw Simon do a Shpongle DJ set but more true to the album versions. I've heard the venue is really good too!

 

Indeed, it certainly will be a whole diff thing than Simon's dj show. And speaking of the venue, it's very much like (or better than) the place I saw Shpongletron. It's odd that the venue i'm seeing Amon Tobin next week has the same name and similar architecture, early 20th century art-deco. Apparently there's been a renaissance of restoration of these old places.

My expectation i think was way to high... Me and my buddy wanted to buy 20 tabs or at least 10 with 200$ all together....i realize now that's WAY off the charts

 

When I saw Shpongle this summer there was people smoking dmt all over the crowd. I am sure there will be something there for you man, ask around a bit. But don't be that guy popping up in everybody's face going 'doses?' can't stand that guy.

 

Do people really charge that much at these concerts? 200$ would get you a quarter sheet around here, or at least ~15+ hits if you don't have a good connect.

 

10 each wouldn't be too outta line, but I don't think i'd be interested in that kind of setting.
At Shpongletron earlier this year the majority of people were electric, but I saw no evidence of availability. Maybe it was out in the parking lot, dunno. I'd bring my own, shows like that are too watched.

I haven't read for sure, but there is the idea out there that it will be very much like the Camp Bisco performance which was ~ 1-1/2 hr.
By the way, why is this thread in the LSD section? Is it a sign I should bring lucy as my date?

Yes! most of my mushroom trips end up with me blasting that through my soundsystem haha...

there is also a twisted records anniversary dvd that i cannot find anywhere...it has the whole twisted records crew on it

depends on your mood.pick a concert with good vibes..phish,flamming lips,animal collective,shpongle,ect.cant go wrong and youll be in good company
