"my""chrstmas" trees, are in the forest, growing in the ground, like they were meant to be. there were a couple of years, meaning a small but uncertain number, that was about a decade ago, give or take, when my wife was alive and we had a little space for a garden, there were a couple of little trees, that we hadn't even planted, that nature just blessed our little garden space with them, and i kept them kind of halfway bonasai'd, so they wouldn't destroy the foundation of the house, that for the couple of weeks each side of the solstice, we would decorate, put little l.e.d. colored lights on them and such. that was also the last time i lived in a house that had like a seperate living room and kitchen and bedrooms and all that, even then there wasn't really room to have a cut down tree inside the house. the living room was kind of a work room for both of us, as was the other bedroom. even the bedroom bedroom had trains in it, as did the garden. as did the kind of garage that was mostly a packed solid kind of warehouse space. so having a tree hasn't really been a thing since when i was little. we did have trees then. and then later, during the last decade my parents were alive, my mom had this little tree shaped wooden thing, that was almost like kind of a cartoon of a tree, that had little holes where you could hang decorations on it. one thing i can proudly say is we never resorted to one of those silly pink aluminum or plastic tree size, shape things that you put the sections together and then took apart and stored in the closet the rest of the year. (but they ARE an alternative to needlessly murdering real trees. i have to grant them that)
if gonna be a thread starter ,, ya got to have ur pictures oriented.. maybes one our mods can flip it for u..
no offense dude but if you're a thread starter you should post your pictures correctly . It is in no way our software at this forum,. It is your own.
Just open up your CSS windows and it flip it around with this. Of course your other images will be flipped too. Except 6 eyed's avatar intrestingly enough.
It's the software mate. My forum i use same software but latest version of xf 2. You guys still use xf1. xf 1 has issues with photos. Testing a pic now that is upright on my iMac computer. A pic of my parents dog. On here if i post it up it's going to be on it's side. There is no way you can flip it.
It is the software. It does it with anything much taller than it is long. If you crop it down it'll work fine. Or you can use an image hosting server. SuzanneDog by lode posted Dec 5, 2019 at 9:26 PM
There's some compression logic in the image upload code which is trying to rotate it because height exceeds X. We should make this a "show us your Xenforo bugs" thread. Everyone but me will hate it. Sort of a reverse Christmas.
