sari silk, so lush! It's so fun to crochet with this stuff, and there's so many different types too. I usally buy the cheaper range to crochet with to sell, but I bought some expensive recycled sari silk yarn and it's soooo different!

I'll have to take a piccy of my tam one day to post here too. It's the last day of summer here today in australia so I should get to wear it more often now that it will be getting colder. Brrrrr!!

this is my new dread tube. it's not for sale, but i love it so much i wanted to share. i am going to list some similar items in my etsy soon, so keep an eye out if you like it.

 

wow, that's some gorgeous yarn arlia! i like the tye-dyed feel to it, with all the brilliant colors all twining together and stuff.... i'm gonna have to get you to make me something sometime... after i get done moving and all that chaos!

and when i start making stuff, i will totally be posting. hehehe... half of my inpirations for stuff has been sparked by looking at the things you wonderfully creative mamas have been doing!

I'm lovin' everyone's beautiful dready crafts! Arlia, your stuff is always so gorgeous and bright... And Katie, that dread tube is adorable on you!

Here's my latest venture into the dready craft... A reversible patchy applejack hat with a stash pocket! It's big and poofy so as to give plenty of room for long dreads - but if yours are shorter it doesn't seem cartoonishly big, so there's some room to grow. I'm really happy with the way this came out.

I think this one is sold already, but I'm going to see if I can't do another couple to post for sale on the website.

 

wow everyones creations are amazing. I wish I had time to crochet but I barely have time to sleep because of these damn classes I'm taking. Over break I made a new green and tan tam but I forgot it at the bar (along with my jacket) and now they are missing. I was actually going to give that one away to anyone who wants it or needs it on here but... alcohol had to ruin that for us.
