from the perspective of a guy that doesn't approach a lady> see the above words of wisdom. don't let the opportunity pass you by, women should be comfy with this by now, it's not 1950 anymore!!!! us guys are tired of the beg and chase game, in these parts if a guy doesn't play the "game" he is usually not an asshole, probably is confident and secure enough with himself to be happy with or without a lady by his side, and 99% of the time single. but can also be a bit shy. and the ultimate reality is that it is the woman's choice who she wants, not the man's job to convince her he's worth something. if he's got a self sales pitch(used car salesman), chances are he's a liar(used car salesman), which falls into the asshole category(used car salesman). another note> don't let your friends choose or have a say so in your descision. it's your choice. if it begs and chases it's probably a dog!!!!

 

ok...I'm slighty confused then here...Why did you walk past him and pretend you didn't see him then? Why not just make eye contact and say hi? (Makes me glad I'm 47, lol)
Just glad it all worked out. Next time though, the guy may not seek you out and it may end up as a missed opportunty.

 

I would have talked to him eventually anyway...I couldn't have resisted much longer.
