Ya' know, we owe China alot of cash these day's and it really doesn't look as if we'll be able to pay them back anytime soon. Industrialy speaking, China is booming right now, growing faster than they can keep tabs on and sucking in huge amounts of wealth thanks to their version of a modern day Industrial Revolution. Ya' know like back when we used Lead for darn near everything because we didnt now better and there was no real sort of consumer protection plan in place to protect anyone from harmful products even if we had been aware of the hazards, dont feel too singled out or targeted or anything, cuz' they're consuming the same crap that we are from their manufacturing sectors. But thankfully in part to the ineptitude of our Government to Balance a budget or keep their theiving hands out of the cookie jar and the reluctance of industry here to balance profit with compensation for labor (Jacking prices to hang on to a big hunk of the pie) we're kinda stuck with Chinese goods as the norm as our own Industries manufactured goods are either out of our price range to afford on our "20% earnings off the GDP" (minus taxes of course) or those Industries are simply no longer present in America, that is to say none large enough to meet the widespread demand for goods in our country. At the rate we are headed down the crapper, soon our Industries will be revitalized by an ever increasing demand for cheap "American goods" made by the hands of our Slave-Wage earning Immigrant workforce (So dont get too excited as this might not nessisarily mean a job for you or I) Welcome to the 3rd world folks, All Hail Caesar, All praise the great Republic for which it shams, one nation under Sod with flibberdy and gibberish for all! Enjoy the Opiates of the Masses as they are flowing freely in our land..
Whenever possible, we (as in my family and I) purchase American made goods, even if we have to pay a little more to do so. When we have a choice between foreign made and made in the USA, we always choose the product made in the United States. The problem lies in the fact that there really isn't enough American made products available to consumers, therefore, it limits how much you can really support your own country's economy. Sad, but true.
we SHOULD boycott "made in china" products, but its just not practical. The computer I'm using write now was probibly made in China. Probibly half of the things we own are from China.
