And this is why people on the street, like most of us here, need to pull back to the middle more. The extremes are just that, extreme. And while it's obvious many of us have extreme opinions, it seems just as plausible that there's enough intelligence and logic to see that neither side of the far extremes have any solid answers to real issues. They camp out on the edges and wedges of what's really important to the basic human. What has been really amazing over the last decade is how emotional appeals that would have been derided and dismissed 20 years ago are now applauded and ushered in as causes for legislation. It's amazing and stupid at the same time. Amazing because so many otherwise intelligent people are being led by the nose, hijacked by their emotions. And stupid because so many otherwise intelligent people are being led by the nose, hijacked by their emotions!
I agree with you, but I also believe that trump has brought out said emotions, on either side of the political spectrum.
Indeed he has. First he made basically all of the republicans look like clueless punks, especially "Jeb". Somebody had to cheer for that. He humiliated them, the party of throwing elections. Then all he had to do was deal with the democrats, who were not expecting someone from the R side actually getting in their faces. And yet, he did. And still does. All the DNC crap like Donna Brazil's debate questions, sandbagging Sanders, all of that shit played right into Trump's hands. Only, he didn't realize that once he took office, things would not get better, but get worse. Serves him right for being SO naive. Perot was just as wrong, America is not a "business". I'm personally quite happy with all the sheer disruption that Trump causes. More and more bullshit from both sides is getting exposed. And it's way bigger than a freezer full of cash.
